Last week we decided to take advantage of Adam's day off and spend some time together as a family. We took Andie to Cornbelly's and she loved it! She would have stayed there forever but the weather wasn't very good that day. She didn't care though and enjoyed it all. Andie had to go through the corn mazes several times even though the kids ones were so small they made me claustrophobic and they even had one that was pitch black! That one was definitely a little to much for me. She also loved all the toys and animals and had to go down the slides a hundred times!
We are so excited that we are going to have another BABY GIRL. The ultrasound went really well and I am very happy and relieved to know that everything looks great! It will be so fun to see Andie and her sister grow up together especially since they will only be 18 months. I just hope they are best friends and don't fight to much. From the looks of it though I think she is pretty excited. Here is a picture of me at 20 weeks. I cant believe I am already half way there. This pregnancy has been much better, easier and gone much faster than the last one. Also I have only gained 5 pounds this time. Definitely a better pregnancy...if I can just keep it up for the next 20 weeks. *** We are really struggling with girl names. I just hope we can find one before she is born. It was so stressful last time. So any suggestions of names would also be great!!!
A few weeks ago we were able to go with Adam's family to Canada for his Grandpa's 80th Birthday Party. It was so good to see everyone, it has been about two years since we made it up there last. We spent a lot of time just visiting with family but also got sometime in to get out and see a few things. It is a 12 hour drive up there and we drove all night long so the kids would sleep. Andie did so well the whole drive up there and back I was so proud of her. The day after we got there we went to the lake for the Birthday Party. Andie loved the water and couldn't get enough. Everytime we turned around she was running for the water. Andie loved playing with her cousins. We stayed with a few of Adam cousins that have little girls that are about three and five months older than Andie. It was so good for her to be around little girls her age, she never gets that at home. Thanks again Michael, Melinda, Jeffery and Emily for all you did for us while we were there! One day we went with Adams sister Brooke and her family to Banff. I have never been there before but it was amazing. It was nice to go walk around, eat delicious food a visit with family. While we were there we went up to the Hotel and it was amazing! It is so old but has been totally remodeled. Also the views from the hotel are breathtaking. Also while we were up there we went to the falls. Andie was really fascinated with them and it was really fun to walk around and look at everything. Andie has learned to smile whenever the camera comes out and she is such a cheese ball now, I love it!!! ** Also while we were there Adam's amazing cousin Heather took some family pictures of us. As soon as she gets them all edited I will post them. We have got a few back and they are AMAZING!! She took the one we have as our header and I love it!
After many emotions from shock and being nervous to excited and thrilled we are happy to announce that WE ARE HAVING ANOTHERBABY!!! I know that some of you may have already known and sorry to those that we havent talked to yet. I have tried to keep it on the DL but Adam just cant keep it to himself. I am due the end of January which puts me at about 14 weeks right now. So far things are going well. I am still sick all the time but not near as bad as I was with Andie which is a good thing. Also I havent gained any weight so hopefully I wont get as big this time around but we will just have to wait and see. We will keep you updated on how things are going. We dont find out what we are having until the beginning of September. Adam is really hoping for a BOY and I dont really care all though a GIRLwould be more convenient since I already have lot of girl stuff. Also I would love advice from all you moms that have kids so close together. They will only be 18 months apart which stresses me out a bit.
While we were in Idaho for my brothers homecoming we decided to have Andie's Birthday Party. It worked out great since a lot of our family was in town anyway. Andie had a great time and loved every minute of it. She loved her cake and dove right in. I finally had to stop her from eating it. I didnt want to have a sick baby on our drive back to Utah. She got very spoiled by everyone. She loves all of the toys and books that she got, and of course she got tons of cute clothes! Thanks everyone for coming and supporting Andie on her special day.
We are the Stevenson's, we are not diligent bloggers, and will most likely only post pictures and updates about Andie Mae and Elsie Lane. We do enjoy spending time with friends and family, the outdoors, watching movies, and discovering good music. We were married in June 2005. A few years later Andie Mae joined us in July 2008 and soon after Elsie Lane came along in February 2010. Adam just finished school December of 2010, so we're just starting another chapter in our lives.
