Easter 2012

I just love holidays. No matter which one it is. I really tried to teach the girls the real meaning of Easter but it was a little above their head this year. They loved the toys, clothes, finding eggs and eating candy though. And of course we had to decorate some eggs even though none of us really care for them. It is always good to see family also. Hope everyone as happy of an Easter as we did.

Bike ride to the park

We are all sick of being so cooped up inside so as soon as the weather starts getting warm we take advantage of it. Also we have been enjoying the fact that Adam never has to work Saturdays anymore. We decided to go for a bike ride (which the girls love). While we were out we stopped for lunch at the park and let the girls play on the toys. I cant wait until summer is officially here!

I want to be a painter

Andie keeps telling us that she wants to be a painter when she grows up. For now I think it is cute, although I hope she chooses an easier path in life when she gets older. She could sit at the table and paint for hours. Elsie of course loves to do whatever her sister does although her attention span is not near as long as Andie's. I guess Andie picked up her artistic side from Adam since I was definitely not blessed in that area.

Roo

I was lucky enough to spend most of the day with just this little girl. She is definitely my craziest, funniest little girl. I can see us butting heads a lot when she is older so for now I will take every good moment I can.

Finally some snow

These girls have been waiting for months to finally have some snow to play in. It may have taken until the middle of February but it was worth it. They loved every second of it. This was the first year Elsie was really old enough to play in and they loved throwing snowballs at each other and making snow angels in the back yard.
